DILWAR HUSSAIN MAZUMDER; ADMINISTRATION IN CHARGE
Born on June 01, 1974 at Hailakandi.
After completing his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Diphu in the year 1991 took admission in National Institute of Technology, Silchar for pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Engineering. From there he obtained the Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering in the year 1997. After which he worked with Gammon India Ltd, Mumbai then he shifted to AFCON Infrastructure Private Limited, Mumbai. Presently he is working with Department of Health Services under National Health Mission (NHM) as Assistant Engineer.
He is also the Principal Trustee of the Millennium Educational Trust.
Dr A. H. MAZUMDER; HEALTH & NUTRITION IN CHARGE
Born on January 15, 1979
After completing his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Diphu he was awarded M.B.B.S. Degree in the year 2005 from Silchar Medical College then after he was awarded M.D. (Medicine) from D. Y. Medical College, Mumbai in the year 2010.
Presently he is one of the renowned Medical Practitioner in the entire Barrack Valley. He is also involved with many social activities in this region.
Rohmoria is a village where everybody is concerned over erosion. Everywhere people are depressed because ofthe Brahmaputra‘s proximity and rage. But in the same place Farm 2 Food foundation have motivated a bunch of youths to take up organic farming as the land is very good due to silt-deposition. Formed 3 groups –Satyam gut, Surjamukhi gut and Moruddyamgutcreating an example for the whole area.
The group has already harvested their first batch of crops produced under our supervision without purchased inputs. With home-made compost, vermin, formulas they have seen increasingly better results on their farm. These dynamic young farmers are proving that erosion-effected Rohmoria can be the best place for organic vegetable cultivation due to silt-deposition by the river.
